Situated in the heart of the Lough Oughter waterway system lies Carafin Activity Park. The Park was created in 2018, and we were the first ever company to bring Hydrobikes to Ireland! We promise the best day out for young and old with water and land-based activities to keep the entire family happy. Enjoy the stunning lakes and rivers of Lough Oughter while relaxing on a boat tour, paddling with the sound of nature all around or getting active on our hydro bikes. Get competitive with our land-based activities which include Laser Clay, Beat the Bleep, Drop zone and more!

We spent an hour on the hydro bikes today. It was absolutely amazing, so safe , peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely be back . This is definitely a place to check out during the summer if you in the area. 5 mins from Insomnia in cavan town to treat yourself after.

What do I need to bring?

We want you to have a great day out at Carafin Activity Park. To make sure that happens, here are some of the things you should bring along with you:

Change of clothes (only if you decide to jump in!)

How do I use a Hydro Bike?

Our Team Instructors will provide full instructions on how to use the hydro bike. Anyone can use a Hydro Bike from ages 8+ to elderly. We have had people in their 70s use them.

Fear of water? No problem, we are experts in making everyone feel comfortable and showing you how easy, secure and safe the experience is.
